Julius Randle Sets Recruiting Decision Date, Kansas Possibly in Lead
Jason Jordan from USA Today tweeted that Julius Randle set his decision date, and so let the speculation begin.
Julius Randle (@j30_randle) will announce his college decision on March 20 at noon on ESPNU. Told me again he “has no clue” where he’ll go.

Randle has not listed a favorite, but his mother recently said she thought the Kansas Jayhawks fans were the “loudest and best” during their recent visit. Hmmmmm, that is interesting and could be a crucial clue in where Randle eventually ends up. He is very close with his mother who has accompanied him on all his recruiting visits.
Many recruiting pundits have said they believe Kansas is the current front runner for Randle’s services with the Kentucky Wildcats coming in second. He is also considering Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, N.C. State Wolfpack, and Texas Longhorns.
The 2013 power forward is a five-star recruit from Plano (Tex.) Prestonwood Christian recently won the Texas state title. He is the fifth ranked player in the 2013 recruiting class according to Scout.com.
Less than two weeks before we know where this young man will play college basketball! It’s almost like Christmas. (If only Andrew Wiggins would commit to the UNC Tar Heels, then it truly would be Christmas). One thing is for certain, somebody will be getting lucky on March 20th.
