LeRon Black is one of the elite prospects in the 2014 class. He was originally committed to Baylor, but he decommitted and now he is back open.
The Memphis (Tenn.) White Station forward is a five-star talent and one of the elite athletes in the entire country.
Black has great size for his position and he can finish dunks off the break or rebound. He also has a particularly advanced ball handle and jumper for his position. He is adept at working his way into the lane and then finishing with either a jumper or a floater. If you let him get all the way to the rim, then guess what? The game is already over. He will just dunk It over you.
He makes really on point passes he and is a player who has what scouts call a “motor”. He hunts down rebounds with ferocity.
He will not be able to physically dominate at the college level as he did in high school, but he will be able to lean on his fundamentals, shooting skills, and handle even more.
He makes an incredible rebound at the :36 mark of the video above and if he can rebound like that at the next level, then he will be a nightmare to defend. His shot blocking is probably the most
underrated, but important aspect of his game and what could make him elite at the next level.
He measures in at 6-foot-7 and 190 pounds, and is still undecided.
