Dalton Scultz is an impressive tight end prospect; he is a great downfield blocker as he shows at the :34 point of the video below. That block ends up leading to a touchdown by the way. He gets aggressive when he he runs downfield and he will be a tight end at the next level who you can use in the red zone to throw the ball over the top or he can be used on a run heavy team. He could honestly probably fit into any system, which is why he should be hotly pursued by every college football program in the country.
He comes out of Bingham High School (South Jordan, UT), and measures in at an impressive 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds; Scout has ranked him as the top tight end in the 2014 college football recruiting class.
He breaks a tackle at the :16 mark of the video above that show you what he can do as far as getting yards after the tackle. He shows beyond his years blocking ability in this video brought to you by Hudl, and thank to them for getting tape of this young man. It will definitely be interesting to where this young man ends up. Wherever it is, he will be in impact player in the offense. It will just depend on if he is blocking a lot or catching a lot.
