5 Star Point Guard Josh Perkins Prospect Profile

Josh Perkins is a recruit to watch out for in the 2014 recruiting class. Here is some video of him playing ball.

He makes a no look pass at 1:05 that is just filthy. He also has a knack for making steals around the half court area and turning those turnovers into quick points. That type of defense will definitely turn some heads.

He has outstanding range and can draw his man all the way out to the three point line. He also has a nice spin move that allows him to twist his way into the lane. He needs to improve his ball handling a bit to shine at the next level, but this is a player with incredible hustle. He makes an impressive block at 2:50 that shows what he will be capable of defensively at the next level. Perkins has great size for the point guard position at 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds; this enables him to see over smaller defenders. He is the eighth ranked point guard in the class according to Scout and plays for Regis Jesuit High School (Aurora, CO).

The five star guard is currently undecided, but some have written that he is holding out to see if the Duke Blue Devils make him an offer. If not there, then he might end up being a Kansas Jayhawk.
