Gatorade- Susan Goldman
Well, had a little twitter back and forth today about Andrew Wiggins possibly joining the North Carolina Tar Heels and liked the way Brad put it below. Andrew Wiggins would have “room to do his thing” with the Heels, if James Michael McAdoo, Reggie Bullock, and P.J. Hairston come back to school then the Heels would be a championship contender.

Wiggins was recently named the Gatorade National High School Boys Basketball Player of the Year and I was lucky enough to interview him. I’ve been editing the audio of that interview and will hopefully get it up later this week. Wiggins is now in the running for Gatorade Boys’ Athlete of the Year, which will be awarded in July. Rant Sports will be in attendance there and get you video and photo coverage of the awards. My gut tells me Wiggins will probably win, but I have not seen the biographies of the other nominated athletes.
I’m glad Andrew was tagged in those tweets in the off chance that he comes across any of the points being made. Hopefully they will sway him to put on the argyle blue jersey.
