Julius Randle has had a season for the ages. After overcoming injury issues at the beginng of the season, he led his team to a State title and he was a late addition to the McDonald’s All American game. Randle shined again last night at the Jordan Brand Classic. Randle’s recruitment process was fun to watch, because he was writing a blog for the time for USATodayhss.com. He sure impressed Paul Biancardi.

Randle was named co-MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic along with Jabari Parker. Randle apparently failed in his attempt to lure Andrew Wiggins to Lexington, but who knows? Maybe Wiggins will shock the world and go with a pick that no one at all is expecting. He has said and tweeted in the past that only him and his parents know anything about his recruitment. Wiggins’ shy temperament is the polar opposite to how Randle tweets, instagrams pictures about his recruitment. It has been quite a lot of fun to watch and we will just have to see what happens next.
Granted, it is still a possibility that Randle and Wiggins end up on the same floor next year, but it is just not necessarily a high percentage that might occur.
