The Jordan Brand Classic Surprisingly Featured Some Defense
The Jordan Brand Classic on Saturday was a very well played game and some folks even commented on the quality defense that was being played.

Something tells me that Michael Jordan, the greatest to ever play the game, sitting courtside probably hiked up the young players effort level. Some analysts commented to me at the National High School Invitational that the McDonald’s All American Game lacked a high commitment level. That all changed at the Jordan Classic though; Jabari Parker and Julius Randle were named co-MVPs. Someone who wasn’t named MVP either of the McDonald’s All American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic? Andrew Wiggins, this year’s Gatorade National High School Player of the Year.
Stay tuned in to Rant Sports Prep for more college basketball recruiting coverage and we will fill you in on any new developments. The new goal? Be like the great Jason Jordan from USATODAYhss.com.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan at NHSI and it was like sitting next to a high school basketball encyclopedia. Hopefully I’ll get there one day!
