The good news just keeps on piling for the North Carolina Tar Heels. It appears as though Roy Williams will be meeting with Andrew Wiggins on Monday to discuss his possible future with the Heels. Even if that future only lasts one year, which it most likely will.
Much thanks to Matt Jones for tweeting this earlier today; his coverage is always excellent.

This comes today after Reggie Bullock declared for the draft and James Michael McAdoo decided to return to Chapel Hill for one more run. I wonder if McAdoo now wishes he had left after his freshman year when he would have been a top ten pick for sure.
I’ve written here before that McAdoo returning was crucial to the Tar Heels’ chances of landing Wiggins. Now we will see whether McAdoo or Bullock was more important to Wiggins’ decision. My gut tells me McAdoo was more important, but it is impossible to say at this point.
Williams has already put together a solid recruiting class that includes Kennedy Meeks and Isaiah Hicks. Wiggins would just be the crown jewel; don’t count Williams out either, he recently successfully recruited the nation’s number one player (Harrison Barnes).
Tar Heel Nation will now cross their collective fingers on Monday and it seems we may be nearing the end of the Andrew Wiggins saga.
