Tyus Jones has been doing a monthly blog on USATodayhss.com (shoutout for their excellent coverage), and Jones had some interesting tidbits to share about his recruitment along with Jahlil Okafor’s as well.
“I talked to my boy Jahlil after the visits to compare how his visits and my visits went,” Jones wrote. “We talked about similarities and differences and things like that. And, yes, we’re still planning to play together in college.”
Jones also offered another interesting tidbits about how and when he will break down his list.
“I don’t plan to cut the list down anymore. I’m looking at the early signing period in November, and I’m hoping to have a decision made by then. I mean you never know, but that’s what I’m hoping for. I want to take my five official visits in the fall. Not sure where to just yet though.”
So we could be looking at an early fall decision date by Jones and Okafor; it will probably just depend on how long it takes for the two friends to get on the same page as as far as a school. We will all look forward to seeing Jones and Okafor cut their list down, and when they end up on the same school? Don’t act surprised.
