Former North Carolina Point Guard Kendall Marshall Made A Visit To His Old High School
Well, former North Carolina Tar Heels point guard Kendall Marshall has been staying busy in his offseason. He recently made a visit to his old high school Bishop O’Connell (Arlington, VA); I first noticed this on the great Paul Biancardi’s twitter account.

Not exactly sure what happened at the visit, but I will keep my nose in google and twitter and when some information pops up I’ll be sure to pass it along. Kudos to Marshall for staying involved in his old high school community. I actually had a few friends go to O’Connell and they spoke quite highly of Marshall both as a player and as a person.
Marshall led Bishop O’Connell High School to the 2010 Virginia Independent Schools Division I championship when he played for legendary coach Joe Wootten.
He also broke the single season record for assists in his final year as a Tar Heel, which is impressive given the list of former Tar Heel point guards. He had a trying first year in the pros, but a young man with Marshall’s passing ability will get a shot in the future eventually. That is something I am quite sure of.
