UNC Tar Heels Assistant Coach Hubert Davis May Have Had Bigger Role In Andrew Wiggins Recruitment
I felt a bit bad last week, because a piece came out that said that the North Carolina Tar Heels would be better off without Andrew Wiggins. I trashed the piece pretty bad as did many on twitter as well. It has since been taken down, but I wanted to offer an olive branch. The same site wrote an article last week about Tar Heels assistant coach Hubert Davis and his possible role in the recruitment of Wiggins. It is linked in the tweet below and is quite a fun read.

He stays to concrete facts in this piece, which is polar opposite to the way the piece I trashed was written.
He looks at the improved shooting percentage’s of P.J. Hairston as well as Reggie Bullock. It also points to the fact that Wiggins’ game is already extremely well developed in many respects except for his shooting. If his jump shot reaches the same level as his athleticism and ball movement, then we very well could be looking at the Canadian LeBron James.
Wiggins’ head coach Rob Fulford has said that Wiggins will decide by May 15th, but honestly nothing would surprise me anymore with Wiggins’ recruitment.
