CBS John Rothstein Believes Florida State Seminoles Favorite to Land Andrew Wiggins
CBS’ John Rothstein apparently believes the Florida State Seminoles are the favorite to land Andrew Wiggins and he puts their odds at 4-1.
“We’ve felt all along that Wiggins would wind up in Tallahassee” writes Rothstein on CBSNewYork. “And we’re not budging from that proclamation. The Seminoles have a distinct connection with the talented small forward that none of the other schools on his list possess — both of his parents are alums. Wiggins also will have more of an impact for Leonard Hamilton’s team than any other squad he’s considering. Without Wiggins, Florida State would be a borderline postseason team. With him, they’re a top-15 unit in the country.”
Personally, I’m not sure Wiggins will end up in Tallahasse, but ESPN’s Dave Telep believes they are the favorites as well so you cannot ignore that. Telep also takes exception to the comparisons Wiggins get to LeBron James at times.

It has been said that Wiggins parents want him to go to FSU as well, so that could be a contributing factor as well. We should have an answer by May 15th, so look forward to me nitpicking every little detail of how this unfolds in the next week. When Wiggins does decide, you can bet that we will keep you posted on it here at Rant Sports Prep.
