A Florida assistant coach apparently called Nick Saban the devil according to ESPN.
Tim Davis is the Gators’ offensive line coach and has probably never been in a headline before now. Honestly the devil comment is kind of a compliment in its own way. Some of the tweets about it were pretty funny too.
#Florida OL coach Tim Davis: “(Nick Saban is) the devil himself.”

The quote itself is a classic too and the Will referred to is Will Muschamp
“I’ve always wanted to work with Will” Davis said to ESPN. “Will’s got a plan. Will coached under the devil himself for seven years. I only did three. He did seven. And his DNA is not any different than Nick.”
A Florida assistant calling Nick Saban “the devil himself” is just plain wrong. Lucifer deserves better.

Davis may get more headlines when the two schools play this year, but we’ll just have to see what happens. This is not likely to decrease the effectiveness of Saban’s recruiting, because he continues to develop players into pro prospects.
We’ll just have to see if Florida can do any damage against hell fire next year, something tells me Saban will have his team ready to roll though. They may just play their way to a third championship in a row.
