Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor Want to “Commit at the Same Time”
Recently read an excellent piece by Jeff Borzello about Jahlil Okafor’s recruitment and thought I’d share it below.

Okafor is the top rated prospect in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class, and he also wants to go to college with his best friend Tyus Jones. Apparently they will even commit at the same time.
“I talk to him every day,” Okafor said to CBS. “He’s one of my best friends. We definitely want to go to the same school. Even without basketball, I’d want to go to college with him. He’s a point guard, pass-first. He makes the game a lot easier for me. We want to commit at the same time. You don’t want to have to deal with it throughout your last year. If we know where we’re going, we’re definitely going to commit.”
That will be a fun commitment ceremony to watch, but we’ll just have to see where they take their talents. The schools mentioned in the tweet below are definitely front runners, so watch out for them.
Tyus Jones sees much the same to like in MSU and Duke, two programs with more in common than some may think.freep.com/article/201303…
