Ben McLemore Was Andrew Wiggins’ Host During Kansas Jayhawks Visit

Rant Sports- Dave Daniels

Ben McLemore knows a little something about being a freshman stud for the Kansas Jayhawks, so I wonder if he had a chacne to talk to Andrew Wiggins about it. According to ESPN’s Andy Katz, McLemore was Wiggins’ host during Wiggins’ senior night visit to Lawrence.

“I know if I was there we would have had one of the best backcourts in the country with me, Wiggins and Naadir Tharpe,” McLemore said to ESPN.

They will not get to play with each other at Kansas though, because McLemore will likely be a top five pick in this year’s NBA draft. Wiggins will follow quickly though; he is not likely to be in college for more than a year. He will most likely be the first pick in next year’s NBA draft.

Wiggins had a phenomenal high school career that netted him the Gatorade National High School Boys Basketball player of the year award, and Wiggins will be up for Athlete of the Year later this summer. Best of luck to him next year at Lawrence and will keep everyone posted of any updates here at Rant Sports Prep.
