Whitney Young C Jahlil Okafor Still Sitting Out EYBL with Ankle Injury
Jahlil Okafor is wisely still sitting out the Nike EYBL session for his ankle injury to heal. I’d like to think that Okafor took the advice of my recent article, but that is not a likely reality.
50 all here at the 8 AM game between Mac Irvin Fire & E1T1. 10 minutes remaining. Jahlil Okafor is out w/ an ankle injury suffered yesterday

Okafor has not cut his list down yet, but he has said that he wants to make his decision by the fall in what should be a joint press conference with Tyus Jones. They have both said publicly that there is a 99.9 percent chance that it will happen, so we will all look forward to it. Here was the piece I write previously about Okafor just in case you missed it the first time.

Doesn’t look like Jahlil Okafor will be back for the Fire’s 2nd game today. Ankle injury not something to just shake off.

If there are any updates on Okafor you can bet that we will keep you posted here at Rant Sports Prep. Best of luck to Okafor as he continues to heal and here is hoping that he comes back totally healthy.
