Keep your seat for the moment folks, but this could be the beginning of a beautiful thing for Canadian international basketball. Wiggins has said in the past he wants to win an Olympic gold medal one day for Canada, and if that happens this is most certainly one of the first steps.

The reason Wiggins might actually achieve his goal? Canadian basketball has probably never been stronger; that training camp roster is no joke at all. Tyler Ennis and Xavier Rathan-Mayes can both be impact players for the team as well and of course as a last resort they can always just throw the ball to Wiggins, which usually ends up resulting in easy points. We’ll just have to see who makes the team, but we’ll keep you posted for sure.
For more recruiting updates later on today, stay tuned in to Rant Sports Prep. We’ll even have a piece for you on Jabari Parker heading to prom tonight. So good luck tonight Jabari (wink, wink).
