Rumors That Ohio State Buckeyes No Longer Pursuing Tyus Jones
D’Angelo Russell recently committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes, and there are rumors that they are putting a stop to their run at elite point guard Tyus Jones.
As @probballdraft notes, it looks like D’Angelo Russell’s commitment will put an end to Ohio State pursing Tyus Jones.

Personally, I do not quite buy this; I think that would be a major mistake, but who knows what can happen in the future.
@equiano420 Gotta go after Tyus Jones too though! In an interview, Tyus said there was “a 99% chance” he and Okafor go to the same school.

Jones and his good friend Jahlil Okafor are apparently a packeage recruiting deal, so giving up on Jones is essentially giving up on Parker. In my opinion that would be a horrible miscue, but something tells me that the Buckeyes won’t give up just yet. They can always try to convince Russell to switch to shooting guard, which he has played before.
