Pro Ball Draft Calls Point Guard Tyus Jones “A Heavy Duke Lean”
Recently came across the tweet below and was intrigued by what it implied; it seems the Pro draft believes that Apple Valley point guard Tyus Jones is a heavy Duke lean. Jones is the top ranked point guard in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class and he recently tore up the EYBL circuit leading the league in points, assists, and steals.
RT @probballdraft: The Buckeyes receiving D’Angelo Russel’s commitment ends the recruitment of Tyus Jones a heavy Duke lean at this point.

Jones has spoken quite fondly of Duke in the past as well as their coaching staff, but to call him a heavy Duke lean might be a bit of a stretch. Jones and his good friend Jahlil Okafor are a package recruiting deal, so any news concerning either of them will be covered extensively here at Rant Sports Prep.

Jones will be making his visits over the summer and fall and hopes to make a decision by November at the latest. When Jones decides when he will visit Duke, then we will definitely keep you posted here at Rant Sports Prep.
