Jabari Parker was recently ranked as the second best power forward in the country by Sporting News, but I think Parker is going to be a revelation next year.

In my opinion he will be a first team All American by the end of the year and though Doug McDermott will probably put up bigger numbers than Parker, I think Parker will win more games, which is what his career has been all about so far. That makes me think the trend will continue in the future; you cannot teach high basketball IQ and Parker has it.
Jabari Parker at Duke and Andrew Wiggins at Kansas. Wow its gonna be a hell of college basketball season next year #StarzOnTheRISE

I was struck with how humble Parker was at last year’s Gatorade High School Athlete of the Year awards; that is why Parker will continue to have success. He keeps working hard and never lets his head get to big. Losing out on the Gatorade award to Andrew Wiggins this year may have been a bit of an ego check, but I’m betting Parker wouldn’t trade any single one of his state championships for any of the various awards that he has won.
