Recently read the Chicago Sun Times piece below about Jabari Parker who has been playing well at the Nike Pro Am Summer League.

Parker pointed out how it was helping him improve his overall game in anticipation for his freshman season.

“It’s great to play against older guys than you because they just know more about the game,” Parker said to the Chicago Sun Times. “That team hurt us with their knowledge of the game, and that’s a great thing to have. The summer is the time of the year when you really have to improve your game. Especially in the month of June. You might spend the time just working on an individual move, or just work at developing different skills.”

Parker will continue to hone his skills this summer against the shot blocking of Anthony Davis and that is not bad competition to go up against.

A greatly improved Parker will be a terror to college basketball next year and it will be thrilling to watch.
