Andrew Wiggins High School Basketball: McDonald's All American Games

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Forward Andrew Wiggins apparently met with the Kansas media for the first time and they were quite excited to see him as you can see below.

Wiggins will have high expectations immediately for the Kansas Jayhawks and he might even be in the running for some of the player of the year awards. I have written here before that he will average a double-double and might even come close to putting up Kevin Durant-like numbers in his freshman year; believe the hype, because this young man is capable of doing truly spectacular things on a basketball court.

Wiggins will be followed with even more intensity this coming year and if he thought the media attention was bad last year, then he is in for quite a surprise this year.

Stay tuned later today for a a piece on Apple Valley (MN) point guard Tyus Jones and his recruitment process. For more college basketball recruiting updates , just stay tuned in to Rant Sports Prep and if you have any comments feel free to Rant them below or hit me up on twitter.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
