Andrew Wiggins High School Basketball: McDonald's All American Games

Saw the news below on twitter and apparently Andrew Wiggins father Mitchell Wiggins spoke to team Canada today and they showed their appreciation for him on twitter.

Maybe this was a small consolation prize for Andrew not participating in U-19 tryouts, but the elder Wiggins is also a scout for team Canada so there is some precedence there as well. Wiggins was a former pro player who went through some interesting things during his long career.

Andrew Wiggins is being talked about as the number one pick in next year’s draft and for good reason; he has developed his skills and athleticism to an elite level and he would have been the top pick in this year’s draft.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
