Tyus Jones NCAA Basketball: Michigan State at Minnesota

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Apparently, Apple Valley point guard Tyus Jones scored 43 points today, which is not surprising but still quite a bit impressive. This young man never ceases to amaze; he also chipped in with 9 rebounds and 4 assists as well.

Pulley Hoops got some video of Jones as well, which is worth checking out. Jones is currently undecided, but has said that he would like to make his decision by November. As my readers know, Jones is a package recruiting deal with his good friend Jahlil Okafor and the two will be a force in college basketball one day.

Jones impressed many on the day, and it will be interesting to see what his senior year has in store. He will be in the running for many of the national high school player of the year awards and we will keep you posted of any updates here at Rant Sports Prep.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
