Sean White Is An Underrated Quarterback In Class of 2014

Sean White impressed greatly at the previous weekend’s Elite 11 quarterback camp and will look to carry that into the Opening football camp. He was drawing the praise of former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer, as well as current college quarterbacks Johnny Manziel and Tajh Boyd.

He may be the 16th rated pro-style quarterback by ESPN and the 22nd by Rivals, but he certainly played like he belonged in the top-10 of any conversation.

White has transferred to University School in Hollywood, Florida for his senior season from nearby Chaminade-Madonna High School. University is coming off of an undefeated season that saw them earn the a Florida Class 3A State Championship, and White help the team defend their title.

He threw for nearly 3,000 last season and over 30 touchdowns. Coming to a school with a competitive football program will only help White continue to develop his skills and as a competitor. He has a great chance to lead this team to their second straight undefeated season.

White surprised at the Elite 11 camp, and will look to lead his squad to victory in this week’s the Opening football camp, where there will be many 7-on-7 drills and scrimmages with many other top skill position and defensive players to compete with.

The QB’s best scholarship offers is probably West Virginia, as it’s the only Big 12 team on the list. He also has plenty of ACC, AAC, and one Big Ten offer from Indiana. No SEC has given him an offer yet, but things may change after this week. It will be interesting to see what happens with White as we progress through the summer and his senior season.
