Andrew Wiggins High School Basketball: McDonald's All American Games

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Saw the tweet below and I have to say it is most likely a sure thing that Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett will play for Canada in the Olympics in 2016. Wiggins for sure, because he has gone on record saying that he wants to win Canada a gold medal one day. It is a noble goal to be sure, but he will most likely have to play his way through the United States squad to get there.

Also, read the excellent article below from USAToday’s own Jason Jordan, which is definitely worth checking out as all of Jordan’s work is.

There will be plenty of pro teams who tank for Wiggins next season, and it will be interesting to see how it shakes out. The 2016 Olympics though will be watched with great interest by me and it seems as though Canada is going to have a pretty solid stream of talent coming down the pikes.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
