The US team won the gold medal yesterday and I was lucky enough to catch the last three quarters thanks to ESPN 3 and the heads up from the lovely Gracie Blackburn from ESPN U.

Okafor was one of the youngest players on the team, and yet he was definitely the most impressive player on the squad. He is up for a lot of the national player of the year awards and we will keep you posted here if there are any updates concerning that. It was a great run for team USA and many of these young guns will one day be on the Olympic stage.
