Jahlil Okafor Was Most Important Player on US U-19 World Championship Gold Medal Team

Dave Daniels- Rant Sports

Recently saw the tweet below and Jonathan Govigny of Draft Express called Jahlil Okafor the most important player on the US U-19 World Championship team that ended up winning a gold medal against Serbia yesterday.

It was a two point game at halftime, but ultimately the Americans low post force won the day for the USA.

Okafor’s post moves were a dominant force throughout the tournament and he got a double team pretty much every time he touched the ball. Of course, this opened up things for his teammates in a big way.

Okafor will be watched closely during his senior season and it should be a joy to keep track of. For all your college basketball recruiting updates just be sure to be stay tuned in to Rant Sports Prep. If you have any comments, feel free to Rant them below or hit me up on twitter.
