Findlay Prep Head Coach Todd Simon Offers Congratulations to Nigel Williams-Goss for Gold Medal Win

Rant Sports- Dave Daniels

Findlay Prep head coach Todd Simon recently congratulated his former point guard Nigel Williams-Goss on his gold medal run with the FIBA US U-19 World Championship team.

Williams-Goss helped spread the floor for Team USA with his three point shooting which gave Jahlil Okafor room to operate in the low post. Okafor commanded a double team most of the time and when you have a sharp shooter like Williams-Goss it is hard to double Okafor.

Williams-Goss was a proven winner at the high school level and he will bring a poise and winner’s attitude to the college basketball level as well. It remains to be seen whether he can win on the same scale, but every time someone has counted out this young point guard he has risen to the occasion with flying colors.
