Jahlil Okafor

Guy Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Jahlil Okafor is the top ranked center in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class and the always great Adam Zagoria recently tweeted that Bill Self recently took some extra effort to check Okafor out at one of his AAU games.

Okafor was recently on the All Tournament team of the FIBA U-19 World Championship team that brought home a gold medal. He was instrumental on the team and they could not have brought home gold without him.

Okafor is in the running for many national player of the year awards but we will just have to see what happens. His main competition will likely be his good friend Tyus Jones. They are also a package recruiting deal and just might be the best package deal in NCAA history.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
