Andrew Wiggins is a big fan of his strength and conditioning coach which I noticed on twitter earlier. Wiggins looked in good shape last week at the Gatorade high school athlete of the year awards, where he took home the male athlete of the year award and also attended the ESPY’s the next day.

Wiggins has been thoroughly hyped this year and I admit to doing a little bit of hyping myself, but this is a young man who deserves it. He doesn’t seek the spotlight, but the spotlight most definitely finds ways of finding him.
The 2013 Nike Global Challenge didn’t quite match the 2012 version. For one thing, Andrew Wiggins wasn't there. http://t.co/l2UNcRJIpX

He is a young star in the making and he means to bring Canada glory one day in the Olympics. He told me the “time is now” for Canada to contend for a Gold medal, so do not be surprised if we see Wiggins in 2016.
