Canada Basketball Will Be Dangerous in the Decade to Come
Was wondering when the rest of the basketball world would notice what the Prep basketball world has known for the past year. It has finally happened. Canada basketball is about to take some huge steps forward and the involvement of Andrew Wiggins cannot be understated. He did not practice with the U-19 teams this offseason, but that was more due to his hectic schedule than anything to do with how he feels about Canadian basketball. With Steve Nash coming on board you can tell that the enthusiasm has never been higher, but we will just have to see if it ends up resulting in wins.
Team Canada will be dangerous in a few years…Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, Tristan Thompson, Kelly Olynyk…head coach..Steve Nash?

Ultimately that is what the Canadian team and Wiggins will be judged by. Will Wiggins just be another Luol Deng who led the England squad in a spirited run in 2012 that did not end in a medal? Or will Wiggins aspire to something greater than that?
Last time some #CdnBallersAAU won an AAA championship crown was Orlando 2011. CIA Bounce led by Andrew Wiggins, Tyler Ennis & Xavier Mayes

It remains to be seen, but those are the type of questions that I stay up late considering. Truly mind numbing stuff for most I’m sure, but my brain seems to accept the tedium after a time.
