Andrew Wiggins Will Lead Big 12 In Scoring and Rebounding Next Season

Andrew Wiggins High School Basketball: McDonald's All American Games

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas Jayhawks forward Andrew Wiggins is about to shake things up in the Big 12. He will lead the conference in scoring and rebounding Kevin Durant- style and so when it happens do not expect me to be surprised.

Chalk it down. Rock Chalk Jayhawk Style.

Wiggins had a pretty fantastic high school career that ended with him winning Gatorade’s high school boys athlete of the year award which was well deserved on his part.

Had a chance to speak with Mitchell Wiggins at those awards and he gave all the credit to his wife for his son developing into the young man that he is today. The exposure on Wiggins will only turn up as the year goes on and if he thought the attention was bad last year, then he is in for a giant world of surprise. Wiggins will handle his success and fame with grace though and the only real question is where this young player’s ceiling. Hopefully we see what it is one day. That would be a true joy, but he will not reach his ceiling until he is around 28 barring injury of course. Keep your fingers crossed everybody.
