Tyus Jones will make his visit to the Baylor Bears along with his good friend Jahlil Okafor. They have both said publicly that they are a package recruiting deal, and it will be interesting to see how quickly they both come to a decision and if it happens at the same time or not. Okafor helped the US U-19 squad to a gold medal this summer, but Jones was not able to be on the team due to a family situation. It was on a previous U.S. team that Okafor and Jones grew close; it may have even been the start of the package recruiting deal.

The two young stars should be up for most of the national player of the year awards next season and it it will be intriguing to see how that all shakes out. They have said they want to make a decision before their senior season begins, but it remains to be seen when exactly that will happen. The Bears could pull off a huge recruiting coup if they land Jones and Okafor; they would both fit well with current Baylor forward Ishmail Wainwright, but we will just have to see. For now it appears Jones and Okafor will make all their official visits and then set aside some time to deliberate on which school will be the best fit for the pair. It would mark the best package recruiting deal in NCAA history, so watch out folks.
