Recently saw the tweet below and apparently Jahlil Okafor is ranked below Myles Turner on Jeff Goodman’s NBA potential rankings. This is a bit surprising to me, but then again I have not seen much tape of Turner so I’ll keep an eye out for him next season. Okafor has done pretty well for himself this summer, and he even brought home a gold medal this summer. Forgot what his exact PER was, but it was pretty insane and it will be intriguing to see if he can bring home a state title now that the pesky Jabari Parker is no longer in his way.
So @GoodmanESPN puts Myles Turner ahead of Jahlil Okafor in latest NBA potential ranking of 2014 recruits… I completely agree.

Okafor is a package recruiting deal with his good friend Tyus Jones and they should be making their decision by sometime this November so you know we will keep you posted here at Rant Sports Prep. They will not be making all their visits jointly but they pretty much talk every day so you can bet that there will be updates on their recruitment in the coming month. They would be the best package recruiting deal in NCAA history, but until they are signed on the dotted line then it is still a theory and not a reality.
Also keep an eye out later today for a piece on Emmanuel Mudiay. It has been a quite week on the recruiting front, but some of the latest movements have been quite intriguing. Stay tuned y’all.
