Duke Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski has been killing it on the recruiting front lately. If you think his team USA involvement does not have an effect on how his recruiting goes, then you are off your rocker old man.

We will just have to see if Coach K can land the prized package recruiting deal of Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor, but if the coach can then the Blue Devils should be title contenders for at least the next three seasons. You can bet that with just a bit more recruiting by Coach K then they would probably be fine for the next decade.

Whether Coach K makes it that long remains to be seen, but it seems that his involvement in USA basketball has revived his coaching career. USA certainly has not hurt his efforts on the recruiting front, and if he can land the best package recruiting deal in NCAA history then you can be that he will stick around to see how they can perform on the court.

In any case I’m sure the Cameron Crazies are happy to have an energetic coach and it seems to help Coach K to have a different outlet during the summer. It may get a bit old trying to get through to 19 year olds, but something tells me that he will be around for the foreseeable future.
