Jabari Parker is being coveted by many pro teams right now, and it would be quite funny if he stayed in school more than one year and ruined all their plans. If he comes out after this season, though then the Los Angeles Lakers would love nothing more than if Parker were to slip to them in draft. Just assuming here that the Lakers would not get the number one pick, but if they can fall in the top five range, then we could be looking at a possibility here. My expectation is that Parker will go second in the draft, but that is also before having another full year of tape to look at.
It might be hard for my Lakers to out tank the Sixers…we might gotta settle for Jabari Parker or Julius Randle.

Parker has said in the past that he could see himself staying in college for multiple years, but that decision is a lot easier when you do not have millions of dollars starting you in the face. We will just have to see how this all shakes out with Parker, but if he somehow slips in the draft due to injury or something else, then the Lakers would be happier than anyone else to pick him up in the draft. They should be so lucky, and it probably will not happen but Laker nation has got to hold on hope to something.
