Well, folks. The time has arrived. Recruiting visits are about to start, and you can bet there will be updates before and after every visit. Point guard Tyus Jones and center Jahlil Okafor will be visiting the Baylor Bears in two days time, but can the Bears pull off a miracle? Most likely not. These two are too meticulous. They are going to make all their official visits, because why would the not?

They have set a decision deadline on this of early November, and their last visit is in late October so there is no need to be hasty with a decision. In any case, best of luck to the Bears this week as they try to land the best package deal in NCAA basketball recruiting history. That would make some serious waves in college basketball, and there have been a string of decisions lately that have not gone the expected way. We will just have to wait and see folks.
Hope Jones and Okafor have a pleasant visit as well. The Bears have to be considered on the outside bubble just because of their lack of tournament success, but sometimes the relationship with the coaching staff ends up being the key ingredient as Emmanuel Mudiay so recently reminded us of.
Two days to go.
