Andrew Wiggins High School Basketball: McDonald's All American Games

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Recently saw the interview below with Paul George, and he says some very flattering things about Andrew Wiggins. George also acknowledged that there will be “battles” down the line between him and Wiggins. Wiggins has stared classes with the Kansas Jayhawks, and he is gearing up for what will be one of the most watched college basketball seasons in years. Ratings are not going to be a problem that is for sure. The hype of not only Wiggins, but all of this year’s class has reached an all time high, and many are convinced there are several multiple All Star selections in this year’s freshman class. You could definitely put myself in that category.

Had the good fortune to talk to George over the summer as well, and he seems like he is about to take an even bigger jump next season. Not sure if that means he will get further in the playoffs, but if healthy he will be one of the most electrifying players to watch next year. He still has room to improve, and if he looks to LeBron James as a measuring stick then there are miles to improve. Here is hoping that George does improve, and that one day we see him lineup against Wiggins with a championship on the line. That would certainly be a “battle”.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
