There was some initial talk that forward Justise Winslow might make the Baylor Bears visit with Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor, but that did not end up happening. Winslow could still team up with the package duo though, and you can bet that this is an important storyline to keep track of for college basketball recruiting. It could end up having national title implications and it seems many recruits are keeping an eye on where Jones and Okafor end up. They would be the best package recruiting deal in NCAA history, and so it would make a lot of sense for Winslow to hop on board as well if they land at a school the forward is still considering.

It is quite an interesting development in basketball that great players are teamming up more and more. AAU basketball, USA basketball, and the example of superstars like LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are all reasons that the younger generation seems so open to teamming up and it should have an interesting effect on recruiting in the future. We will have to see if Winslow goes on his own path, or tries to form a super team. In any case, you can bet that we will keep you posted on Winslow’s decision here at Rant Sports Prep, and his senior season should be quite fun to keep an eye on.
