Jahlil Okafor is probably starting to get used to the accolades, but here is hoping that the Whitney Young (IL) center is keeping a humble head about it all. It seems like he is staying grounded, but here are some new accolades anyway. Okafor remains ranked number one in Rivals 2014 college basketball recruiting rankings, which should not surprise many. Emmanuel Mudiay comes in just behind and for the full rankings check it out below.

Okafor is going to be considered for most of the national player of the year awards, and if he keeps his grades up then there will be many more accolades in his future. He has said in the past he is a package recruiting deal with point guard Tyus Jones and they have said in the past they want to make a decision by early November. They are making two more official visits together, so those will both have a huge impact on what happens with Okafor as far as recruiting goes. It would be the best package recruiting deal in NCAA history, but it will only be official when it is down in ink. If they had the same top five schools it would be a different story. Stay tuned in to Rant Sports Prep for how Okafor’s visits go, and you can bet that when he makes a decision it will make national headlines.
