Center Jahlil Okafor’s Dad Says Son Had “Good Time” on Kentucky Wildcats Visit
Jahlil Okafor, top ranked center of the 2014 college basketball recruiting class, recently visited the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington. According to his father Chuck Okafor his son had a “good time”, which should probably not come as a surprise. Also saw the news that John Wall scored something like 40 points in an alumni game that Okafor went to, so I’m sure that was impressive to the young Whitney Young center. The hype around Okafor is quite high, because of the quality player that he has already developed into. It also probably does not hurt that he is a package recruiting deal with the top ranked point guard in the class Tyus Jones, but that is just me making a guess. If they do go through with it, they would become the best package recruiting deal probably in college basketball history. Shout out to Wildcat news for the tweet below.

Will definitely keep an eye out on any other word about how the visit went, but you can be sure that good old Chuck Okafor will have some more quotes for us all down the line. It will be interesting to see how famous his son becomes in the next few years and if that has any effect on whether Chuck speaks to the media down the line. In the meantime, Big Blue nation will hold their breath in anticipation.
