Add this to the many ways in which John Wall is a bad ass. He scored 40 points in a Kentucky Wildcats alumni charity game, and did so with top ranked center Jahlil Okafor who is also currently undecided. Could Wall being doing more for that program? Out of all the players they have suited up in the last decade, he may have helped that program more than any other that I can think of. If I’m missing someone crucial, please feel free to hit me up on twitter. Saw the news about Wall’s fantastic game from Chris Miller so shoutout to him as well.

This probably will not make a huge difference in the recruitment of Okafor, but it could not hurt right? Most likely Okafor has gotten a chance to speak with Wall, and I’m sure the D.C. point guard spoke glowingly of John Calipari and the way that the head coach handles young talent. One thing is certain, it would be huge for the Wildcats program to land Okafor because he is a package recruiting deal with top ranked point guard Tyus Jones. If the two landed in Lexington, then national title expectations would certainly follow the duo. That expectation is not unfamiliar for the Wildcats, and they have similar expectations this year as they welcome what is being called by some as the greatest collective college basketball recruiting class of all time.
