Bill Self was lucky enough to have an in-home visit with Jahlil Okafor earlier this week and Kansas Jayhawks fans everywhere are probably crossing their fingers. It is probably all for naught, but I will not be the one to hate on blind hope. Sometimes it is necessary to sustain life, and is needed in a time of great doubt. Okafor is the top ranked center in the 2014 recruiting class os naturally any visits regarding him will make serious noise in recruiting circles. The Jayhawks are honestly a pretty big longshot for Okafor, but keep on dreaming Jayhwak nation. Just keep on dreaming and also feel free to check out the tweet from Evan Daniels below.

Okafor is a package recruiting deal with Apple Valley point guard Tyus Jones, who just so happens to be the top ranked point guard in the recruiting class according to most outlets. Wherever they go will become an instant title contender, and if they join Jabari Parker in Durham like I expect, then they should be favored to win at all really no matter which team they end up playing in March Madness. But do not put the cart before the horse! We still another glorious season of high school basketball to go through and it should be glorious.
