Point Guard Tyus Jones Called “Terrific Ambassador for High School Game”
Tyus Jones is one the most impressive young point guards in the high school game today and he will likely be in the mix for a national title during his freshman year of college wherever that may be. Saw the tweet below from ESPN recruiting analyst Adam Finkelstein who called the Apple Valley guard a “terrific ambassador for the high school game”, which is a cold stone fact.

Jones is a package recruiting deal with the top ranked center in the class, Whitney Young’s Jahlil Okafor, so wherever they go to school will have immediate expectations. It would be arguably the best package recruiting deal in NCAA history, so naturally it is of great interest here at Rant Sports Prep. Jones has said he wants to make a decision by early November so that he can go through his final season of high school basketball. That is quite wise on the young Minnesotan’s part, and it will amazing to be able to watch his games nationally televised his freshman year. For now, we will just have to see what scouts and coaches say about his game and patiently wait for early November to come. Something tells me the folks in Durham are going to be quite happy, but you never know what could happen.
