Boston Celtics Hoping And Praying For an Andrew Wiggins Miracle with Roster Next Season

Well, the Boston Celtics seem to be just be purposefully mailing it in. Have to admit the tweet below made me chuckle about the Celts new leader.

Saw Jordan Crawford play quite a bit in D.C., and think the quote that sums him up is when the guard said that when he could see the rim it was an open shot. No Crawford. Just. No.

Imagining Crawford try to be a leader next season will result in a lot of inefficient shots and also probably quite a bit of losing as well. If Crawford is the same player he was in D.C., then Boston should turn against him quite quickly and he probably will not be there more than a year.

It is going to be a rough year for Celtics’ fans and they would not complain if their losing results in a player like Andrew Wiggins or Jabari Parker. Wiggins is the more likely one and down between the two, but something tells me the Celtics would not complain about having a player like Julius Randle or Aaron Gordon either. The Celts will definitely not be a must watch on League Pass next season, but if they land Wiggins? They’ll be must watch for the next decade.
