Center Dakari Johnson Attends Kentucky Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals Football Game
It looks like center Dakari Johnson is having a good freshman year so far. He was recently spotted at the Kentucky Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals football game and was even kind enough to pose for a picture with a fan. Hopefully the center’s good fortune can rub off on Kentucky’s football program, because it does not seem to be faring too well lately. Shout out to the tweet below for the alert.

Was fortunate to see Johnson play in the National High School Invitational where he was named Most Outstanding player in a defensively dominant performance. He guaranteed that he would win a national championship in college, which is music to the ears of Big Blue Nation. They are certainly welcoming the expectations and this squad is so talented that Johnson will amazingly come off the bench. Or at least it seems that way so far, but he will get plenty of minutes whether he is coming off the pine or starting things off at tip off. Johnson may even end up staying in Lexington for more than a year if scouts do not get enough game tape.
In any case, I’m sure John Calipari has his young group working hard already and if they develop their chemistry quickly enough, then we might be talking about Johnson’s contributions to the Wildcats lineup in March.
