Jahlil Okafor recently payed a visit to the Kentucky Wildcats and it seems that he had quite a good time. It may not end up mattering in the end for the Wildcats, but you can never count out John Calipari in a recruiting battle so stay tuned until early November. Calipari recently had an in-home visit with Okafor’s package deal partner, but no word yet on how that went. Point guard Tyler Ulis who recently committed to the Wildcats thinks that Okafor is going to pair up with point guard Tyus Jones and so do I, for a matter of fact. Saw Ulis’ prediction in the tweet below.

His dad was impressed by everything and they seemed to have fun even taking in an alumni charity game featuring John Wall.
“It was a great visit, and we had a good time,” Chukwudi Okafor said to the Courier-Journal. “We got to see the facilities, got to meet all the coaching staff, talked to some of the players. We got to see the alumni game. It was a great experience, and we took a lot of information away.”
In the end still expect Okafor and Jones to end up in Durham, but if the Wildcats can make some magic happen between now and November maybe the story will take a dramatic shift.
