Tyler Ulis’ Father Does Not Think Son and Tyus Jones Will Play On Same Team
Tyler Ulis recently committed to the Kentucky Wildcats making Tyus Jones an unlikely possibility at this point. Even Ulis’ father thinks that Jones and Ulis playing on the same team would be kind of redundant.
“I would never say never,” James Ulis said to the Courier-Journal, “but I would think if you asked Tyler and asked Tyus, they would say they play the exact same position at the exact time in the game.”
His son has been vocal in the past about how he thinks the Jones and Jahlil Okafor package deal will definitely happen and they will most likely be heading to Durham to the delight of Blue Devil Nation.

Ulis will likely be a four year player for the Wildcats in a rare recruiting move by John Calipari. If Ulis can become Eric Bledsoe 2.0, then that would be the best case scenario for Ulis’ particular talents.
Hopefully we will get to see Jones and Ulis match up against each other again, because by all accounts their battle at Peach Jam was a sight to behold and it is kind of a shame we will never see them on the same team. I don’t know though, maybe McDonald’s All American teammates has a pretty good ring to it.
