Andrew Wiggins Misses “Grandma’s Cooking” The Most Being Away from Canada
Granted this interview was done before Andrew Wiggins headed to Lawrence, but it appears the thing he misses most about Canada is his “grandma’s cooking”.
Really can’t say enough good things about this interview with Wiggins, and cannot wait for the start of college basketball either.

Wiggins was last year’s Gatorade high school athlete of the year, and it was my honor to get to speak with him last July. He struck me as a humble young man, and when I asked him when he thought Canada could make a run in the Olympics he replied “the time is now”.
Love that attitude from Wiggins and believe the Canadian squad recently qualified for the World Cup in Spain next summer.
Hopefully he will be able to participate next summer or even in 2016. That would be an amazing sight to see and it would be truly a dream to cover those games. Wiggins has some big goals next season and with the Kansas Jayhawks he should be one of the contenders for Big 12 player of the year. Personally cannot see Marcus Smart putting up a more statistically impressive season, than Wiggins but the Jayhawks will have to win games too.
Head coach Bill Self has said this is the most athletic squad he has ever coached, so it should be a lot of fun watching Wiggins play above the rim.
